She drinks in the opaline sphere gracing the hidden waters, blushing from peach-tinted petals as they float away to a realm eternal.
Sighs of vain-lit sorrow drown deep in scented lotus blooms while she laments, her full beauty soon to melt into a month-long slumber.
Alone in her bed of a thousand stars she gently drifts forever, embraced in seas of silken cloud for alas, no lover has she in the heavens.
Yet somewhere far below her nocturnal throne in the skies, a young man lost in sweet love long gone serenades her in C sharp minor.
